There is, therefore, a need for flexibility about the times and days on which students can be taught.&nbsp;</p><p>The maximum teaching load is fifteen <strong>(1</strong><strong>5</strong><strong>)</strong> hours per week. The lessons could take place during break and lunchtime.</p><h2>Job Responsibilities</h2><p>1. Working closely with the Director of Gymnastics, they will design and implement a clear developmental pathway that supports progression from foundational skills through to advanced performance levels.</p><p>The role will focus on establishing and embedding a high-performance coaching culture, ensuring all sessions are underpinned by best-practice methodology, technical precision, and athlete-centred development. This includes setting and maintaining coaching standards, mentoring and upskilling coaches, and ensuring consistent delivery aligned with programme goals.</p><p>In addition, the Assistant Director will oversee athlete development by monitoring progress, implementing assessment frameworks, and supporting individualised training plans to optimise performance outcomes. They will contribute to talent identification and long-term athlete development, ensuring all gymnasts are appropriately challenged and supported to reach their potential.</p><p>This role will require the successful candidate to start preferably in August 2026.
